How to maintain your electric surfboard battery?

For optimal wintering of your electric surfboard, we advise you to follow these steps:  

Maintenance and servicing of lithium ion batteries:

Start with careful cleaning and general maintenance. Disassemble the different elements of your board, clean them with non-abrasive and non-flammable products such as silicone grease. Apply a suitable lubricant to components that require it. Be sure to store each piece in protective packaging to avoid damage.

Battery storage in winter:  

Once the components have been dismantled, they must be stored in adry and clean place, away from direct sunlight and temperature variations. Be sure to avoid spaces where temperatures may exceed limits. They should not be placed near heat sources, flammable products, and always out of reach of the sun's rays.

Engine maintenance:  

If your board has been used in salt water,rinse the jet with fresh water to prevent corrosion. This step is not necessary if your board has been used exclusively in fresh water.
